The small village of Marušići is situated on arguably one of the most beautiful coastal area of Dalmatia and Croatia. Below the steep, partly even rocky hillsides small, intimate beaches are hidden here along the coast - these are not even visible from the main road.

The original village itself, alone with its small church, can be found above the main road, the Magistral. The resort area in two groups of apartment buildings (Ćapula and Borak) between Cape Dubočaj and Borak Bay lies below the Magistral. Marušići is free of large hotels, vacation resorts - accommodation is offered here by family-run apartment buildings. The paths to the beaches go through steep steps.

Basic food and drinks, household items can be bought in the grocery on Magistral, restaurants Galeb and Jurčević serve tasty food next to the shop. More shops, restaurants and other facilities are found in the neighboring Mimice (administration center, Marušići belongs here) and even more either in Omiš (12 km) or in Makarska (20 km).
